I now get to drive to my “Learn by Dropping the Ball” team building workshop without using a single drop of gas. I just bought a Nissan Leaf, or as I like to call it: my “Tesla Light”. This is an awesome entry into the future. Yes, the power still has to be generated somehow and if the power comes from a coal powered plant it is not so good but with the advancement in solar power together with the advancement that is happening in the human mindset soon that will be a reality if a growing area of this country.
What has been really fun is to share the information in my circles. Telling neighbors and friends about it and taking them for test drives. If you haven’t driven one yet do it now. And if you are worried about the high cost do what I did. The price drop on used Leaf’s is amazing. I bought a 2013 Leaf with 16,000 miles on it which listed for $34,000 new. I got it in prime condition, not a scratch, for ….. $11,000
